This isn’t an AI newsletter. I promised you a couple of weeks ago that I wasn’t going to talk about AI ever again.
For weeks, the shiny object played so much of my day. I write something, I go into Grok, I test it out, and then edit it based upon what Grok advised. And then my Friday and Saturday were filled with me writing blogs and newsletters!
And now, I’m finished in a fraction of the time, because I know how to write fast.
But now I have my afternoons that are completely boring, and I wonder what I could be doing with them.
“Amazing Gaming Productions Creative Work” - I slotted it in my calendar, but I don’t know what the hell I could be doing with that time!
I honestly don’t know!
So, my advice, to get too tied up on a particular piece of the process, you could be dropping it in a few moments!
And then ask yourself, what do I want to accomplish this week, every week, so you know exactly what to do in every available moment!
Thinking also helps with this, and if you have extra time, you can sure use it to think while you’re bored!
What I published this week!
EA executives, people who only pinch pennies and never game, think there is a mythical cave of the nerds, where you only need to brand something RPG and you’d play it. It has only harmed their brand since, and we can see that advice permeates Nerddom!
There is often a third dimension in the Speed vs Quality debate that is never mentioned - Scope. The fewer the projects on the go, the faster you get with each project and the better the quality!
Reading, Watching, and Playing
I started Bowen Greenwood’s Armageddon - a great novel so far.
I’m still reading How to Make Friends and Influence People, it’s a great book.
And I’m still going through James Carran’s Sacred Sacraments for Writers.
Can Heroes And Villains just get along
Relentlessly Bullied Hero is a fantastic comic about a disillusioned hero, in a social media networking world, hounded by a sexy villainous woman who wants to change.
It’s just pure fun, you’ll enjoy it!
Profiles in Heroism: Samwise the Brave
Samwise is one of my most favourite heroes. He’s just an ordinary man who cared about his friends so much, he did whatever he could to bring about a better day!
Thanks for rolling with Amazing Gaming Productions!
